Sound Familiar?

You're managing the best you can, but:

Generic advice doesn't fit

Title

"Drink more water, wear compression, exercise" only gets you so far when your day, your symptoms, and your goals are nothing like the next person's.

Some days are good, some days aren't

Title

Variability makes it hard to plan, hard to commit, and hard to find support that flexes with you.

Your life isn't pausing

Title

Work, study, parenting, training - they all keep moving whether your autonomic nervous system cooperates or not.

You've outgrown the basics

Title

You already know your triggers, your pacing limits, and your patterns. You need someone who can build on that, not start from zero.

The goals are personal

Title

Getting back to training looks different to getting through a uni semester. You need a plan built for your version of "better."

You're done with one-size-fits-all

Title

Programs that treat POTS as a generic condition haven't worked. You need something built around you.

Your plan should fit your life

At Active Health Clinic, we don't run POTS through a protocol. Our Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, and Dietitians work together to build a plan around what you're managing, what you're working toward, and what your day actually looks like. Whether that's getting more steady at home, returning to study, easing back into sport, or holding down a job - the plan flexes to fit.

How we build your plan

1-on-1 support at Active Health Clinic is tailored to you. For people with POTS, that typically looks like:

Here's how it works

A personalised health support plan built around your symptoms, your energy, your goals, and your week

Pacing strategies designed for autonomic dysfunction - calibrated to your baseline, not a generic POTS protocol

Goal-led sessions - whether that's returning to work, study, sport, or simply having more predictable days

A coordinated team - If you are getting support from multiple services at our clinic, you can be confident you will have a team that works together towards your goals

Flexibility that matches your capacity - weekly, fortnightly, or slower; telehealth, in-person, or a mix

6 sessions over 8–12 weeks to start, with the option to continue at whatever pace works. There's no lock in contract so you only have as many, or as few sessions as you need.

Common questions from people with POTS

Do I need a formal POTS diagnosis?

No. Many of our clients arrive mid-diagnostic journey or with strong suspicion. We focus on how your symptoms affect daily life, not on labels.

Is this available via telehealth?

Yes. Many of our POTS clients prefer telehealth - fewer commutes, less orthostatic load. You can mix in-person and telehealth as needed.

Can the plan really work around my schedule?

That's the design. Sessions flexibility with your capacity, and the support plan is built around what you're actually trying to do - not a generic template.

Will I have to see all three clinicians?

No. You can select your preferred service/s or choose be matched with whoever fits your situation - that might be one practitioner, or a combination.

Can I use Medicare, NDIS, or private health?

In many cases, yes - depending on your plan and referrals. We'll walk you through what applies in your intake call.

What if I can't commit to weekly sessions?

That’s completely fine. Sessions are paced around your capacity. Many clients attend fortnightly or monthly. We’ll work at a pace that’s doable and sustainable for you.

What does the program cost?

We'll talk you through pricing and rebate options in the intake call so you have a clear picture before committing.

What if it turns out it's not the right fit?

The intake call is low-pressure. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and point you toward something that is.

A plan that fits - built with you

Tell us a bit about you and we'll be in touch. The first conversation is short, no-pressure, and led by someone who'll actually listen to what you're managing and what you're working toward.
