What is Long COVID?

Long COVID is the term used when symptoms continue well after the initial COVID-19 infection. These symptoms can last for weeks, months, or even longer, and often don’t follow a clear pattern. You might feel like you’ve recovered, only to have symptoms flare up again without warning. Long COVID is also known as Post-Acute Sequelae of COVID-19 (PASC).

Why Does It Happen?

The exact cause of Long COVID is still being researched, but we know it’s real and can affect multiple systems in the body. It can leave you feeling drained, foggy, short of breath, or in pain. Additionally, it doesn't always show up on standard tests.

That can be frustrating and isolating, especially when it feels like no one has answers.

How It Can Affect Your Life

For many, life moved on after the pandemic, and for those with Long COVID or PASC, they're stuck in the reality of a new diagnosis.

For many people, Long COVID makes even basic daily tasks harder. Things like walking, cooking, working, or being social can feel overwhelming. You might find yourself needing more rest than usual or struggling with symptoms that change from day to day.

Our team is here to help you understand what’s happening and support you through a personalised management plan that works with your symptoms and lifestyle.

Are You Missing a Diagnosis?

This quick, free tool was built to help people with complex symptoms connect the dots. It's not a diagnosis, but it might just give you clarity on what to look into next.
