Sound Familiar?

You’re doing your best to manage… but:

Nobody Believes You

Title

Tests come back “normal”, appointments are expensive and rushed. You keep leaving feeling gaslit, dismissed or misunderstood.

You're facing it alone

Title

Friends, family, even clinicians don’t quite get it, so you bottle things up and mask how hard it really is.

No Real Roadmap

Title

You’ve tried everything from Google to specialists, but nothing feels connected, cohesive, or built for you.

Fear of Crashing

Title

You want to move forward, but the fear of setbacks keeps you stuck in survival mode.

Daily Tasks Drain You

Title

Cooking, cleaning, or even replying to a message can wipe you out, and the guilt is heavy.

You’ve Lost Trust

Title

You’re doing your best, but you no longer feel safe or confident in your body’s signals.

Care should be built around the person, their story, and the way their condition impacts their life, not around the diagnosis itself.

At Active Health Clinic, we’ve built our entire approach around supporting people with overlapping, often invisible health challenges - the kind that don’t fit neatly into a diagnosis or a standard care plan.

Our team of Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, and Dietitians works together to support clients navigating complex invisible illnesses such as chronic fatigue, chronic pain, dysautonomia, post-viral syndromes, hypermobility, and more.

We understand that:

Pushing harder doesn’t help - and can actually set you back

Your symptoms are real, even if they don’t show up on a test

You deserve care that meets you where you are, not where someone else thinks you should be

We’ve supported thousands of people to feel steadier, more confident, and better resourced.

We're here to offer something real: compassionate, collaborative care that helps you better understand your body, your health, and your journey, so you can build a life around what matters most to you.

The Foundations of AHC

Flexible, one-on-one support designed specifically to help people living with complex invisible health challenges, get back to everyday life.

Whether you choose Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, or Dietetics; the foundations of AHC include a flexible, personalised pathway grounded in clinical evidence, compassion, coordination, and realistic pacing.

Here's how it works

Your care may include Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, and/or Dietetics, depending on what’s most supportive to your needs.

Every aspect of your support is personalised. With 1:1 care, flexible pacing, and a holistic approach, we work with you to understand the whole picture.

You’ll receive a personalised health support plan (we call this our roadmap tool), co-created with your practitioner/s early in the process.

Our team works closely together behind the scenes to provide seamless, coordinated care. If you're accessing multiple services, we collaborate so your support feels connected, consistent, and centred around you.

We begin with the service/s that best matches your needs, then work with you through 6 individual sessions (typically over 8–12 weeks). From there, we continue at a pace that reflects your goals, your circumstances, and what feels right for you.

Sessions are available via telehealth or in-person, or a mix of both.

What Life Can Look Like With the Right Support

Our service is designed to help you build steady, sustainable change at your pace, in your way. Here’s what clients often experience through support at AHC:

More stable energy and fewer setbacks

By learning how to pace activity and avoid boom-and-bust cycles, clients begin to move through daily life with more consistency, and fewer crashes.

Daily life feels more doable

Cooking, showering, working, even socialising; these become more manageable with the right tools, routines, and personalised strategies.

Increased confidence in body and decision-making

Instead of second-guessing every move, clients start to trust themselves again and making choices with more clarity and less fear.

Reduced overwhelm and isolation

With truly coordinated care, you’re no longer carrying the full mental load of figuring things out alone.

A sense of steadiness and self-compassion

Clients feel more in control because they finally have a plan that fits, and a team that listens.

How it Works

01. Start with an intake conversation

We begin with a short, low-pressure intake call to explore your current challenges, goals, and capacity. This helps us make sure that AHC is the right fit.

02. Get matched with the right practitioner/s and receive your personalised support plan

Based on your needs, you'll be paired with one or more of our team members: an Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist, or Dietitian.

In your first 1–2 sessions, we’ll create a custom health support plan shaped around your symptoms, energy levels, daily routines, and goals. This plan becomes your personal foundation for steadier progress.

03. Begin regular sessions at a sustainable pace

You’ll typically have 6 sessions over 8–12 weeks, but the schedule adjusts with your capacity. Whether that’s weekly, fortnightly, or slower, we’ll go at the pace that supports you best.

Hi! I'm Raeya

I’m an AEP and the COO at Active Health Clinic. Every week, I speak to people who have spent months, years, or even decades feeling dismissed, misunderstood, or wondering if anyone truly believes what they're experiencing.

Those conversations stay with me because I know how much courage it takes to keep searching for answers when you're already exhausted.

I know because I've been there too. I lived through years of undiagnosed symptoms, overwhelming fatigue, crashes, medical dismissal, and trying to navigate life in a body that no longer worked the way I expected it to. That journey shaped not only who I am, but how I practice, how I lead, and the kind of care we strive to provide every single day.

At Active Health Clinic, we share a simple belief:

Care should be compassionate, flexible, and built around the person, their story, their goals, and the way their health impacts their life, not simply the diagnosis.

If you're reading this and wondering whether you're "sick enough", "well enough", or "too complex" to ask for support, I hope you hear this:

You are not alone.

You belong here.

You don't need to have all the answers.

You don't need to explain every symptom perfectly.

We'll meet you where you are, listen without judgement, and work alongside you to better understand your health, build your toolkit, and support you in navigating your journey.

Sending lots of love (and spoons)

You're in Experienced Hands

Behind the Scenes with Our Practitioners

Our Program is not for everyone…

AHC may not be right for you if:

What you can expect:

You’re looking for a quick fix or guaranteed recovery

Care is always tailored to you, there's no one-size-fits-all approach.

You need urgent, crisis, or high-intensity medical care

Support is paced around your needs, goals, and current capacity.

You’re after one-off advice rather than ongoing, structured support

If you're seeing multiple clinicians, your care remains connected and collaborative.

You’re not currently in a place to engage in regular sessions or pacing-based care

If we're not the right fit right now, we'll help guide you towards the support that's most appropriate for your current needs.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a diagnosis to engage with AHC?

No formal diagnosis is required. If you’re dealing with symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, dizziness, pain, or gut issues, we focus on how your health affects daily life, not on fitting you into a label.

Is your program available via telehealth?

Yes! You can complete the program entirely via telehealth or attend in-person sessions at one of our clinics. Most clients use a mix, based on location and capacity/energy levels.

How many sessions will I need?

Most people start with 6 sessions over 2 to 3 months. Some continue longer, depending on their goals and progress. Your mix of OT, EP, and Dietetics is tailored to your needs.

What does the program cost?

Costs vary based on your funding options (NDIS, Medicare, private health). During your intake call, we’ll provide a clear breakdown of what applies to you.

Can I use NDIS, Medicare, or private health rebates?

Yes. We support NDIS, Medicare Chronic Condition Management Plans, WorkCover and private health insurance. We’ll help you understand what’s available in your situation.

What if I can’t commit to 6 sessions?

That’s completely fine. Sessions are paced around your capacity. We’ll work at a pace that’s doable and sustainable for you.

Will I have to work with all three services?

No. You might work with one, two, or all three, depending on your needs. We’ll recommend the right combination during your intake and planning process.

What if I don't know whether I'm the right fit?

If your symptoms are making day-to-day life harder than it should be, you don't have to wait until things get worse to ask for support. We'll meet you where you are and help you better understand your health and your next steps.

What kind of progress can I expect?

We don’t promise overnight change, but clients often see fewer crashes, clearer routines, more confidence in their body, and a steadier, calmer sense of support.

What happens if it’s not the right fit?

If we believe another service would serve you better, we’ll guide you there. The intake process is all about making sure you receive the care that’s truly right for you.
